Research Analyst - Commercial Real Estate
NorthMarq Location: Phoenix, AZ
 
NorthMarq is seeking a professional and driven individual interested in the role of Research Analyst. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research, including sourcing/mining data, evaluating information, and analytical reporting
  • Obtain and maintain market data
  • Prepare quarterly market reports, identifying the key supply/demand trends and market drivers
  • Work with the brokerage teams providing support in the development of marketing proposals
  • Ability to present results of analyses in written form
  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret various types of real estate data
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Must be proactive and take initiative
  • Proficient in MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CoStar a plus
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
  • Team player, strong work ethic and passion to work in the commercial real estate industry
